Call for list: darn that predictive text thingy

With only one slipped digit, I just managed to turn:

Well done!

into:

Elk food!

I think that's pretty impressive. Anyone care to share any other pearls they've (almost) sent?

I've told quite a few people to 'duck off' before now.

But my favourite was with spell checker on MS Word. Years ago, I was working with a Nigerian woman called Wambui Mwange. (for those interested, it's pronounced Wam-boy Mer-Wang-ee)

Word suggested that I had meant to type 'Womb Mange' which sounds altogether rather unpleasant and not at all like Wambui.

My BF and I have given up on the word 'me.' Now we just text 'call of' or 'of loves you.' (which isn't correct grammar, I know, but who cares.) 'Kiss' becomes 'lips' (which is kind of appropriate, but "sending you a lips" just doesn't have the same ring. Also 'home' equals 'good,' so saying 'home safe' ends up being 'good safe.'

Almost sent? Try being around lip-readers who think you talk that way all the time. 33 33 74

"Coal" becomes "Anal", and then when you hurriedly ask it for another (less offensive) word, it suggests "Cock".

My favourite however has to be "Smirnoff" which becomes "Poisoned". I think my phone and I must have had similar experiences with vodka.

I thought proper predictive text ought to learn which of the selections you most usually select, and bubble that word up the list (it's only a counter /sort extra, afterall)

(Earliest DOS editor I saw had something like this was called MindReader, and was excellent)

My brother told me about 'book' (he is an ex-teacher)
Apparently them young'uns are actually using the worg in speech instead of 'cool'.

It's supposed to but I find it's got quite a short memory. No matter how many times I teach my phone the word "fuck" it reverts to "duck" after a week or so. I can only presume Nokia don't approve of swearing.

If you're not using predictive text, surely the most satisfying word to text is "wagamama"?
