I had a few minutes before my train left (from Kings Cross), so I persuaded Summer Girl to let me scoot around the new refurbished St Pancras station. I only had a few minutes, so I didn't get time to really do it properly, but I just wanted to get some snaps of the refurbishment, which has been hailed as a great success.

Hazel and I used this station on Friday and a few hours ago as we travelled to Bruges via Eurostar. Beautiful station, fantastic architecture and a wonderful welcome to Britain I thought. Great place to arrive.
We must have just missed you! It looks fab I think.
very attractive station. good photos moom
One almost wonders if another Monet will come along to immortalize the station, as he did with La Gare St Lazare.
Gorgeous!
Wow! Must be some feeling to be in the thick of it, hustling along to catch a train. Union station in Wash. DC is such a place. I love it! Thanks for the look.
I keep meaning to have a look it's probably only 15 minutes away from where I live by tube, however I'll do anything possible to avoid Kings Cross station.
Quite grand.
The station is impressive, shure, but it's the attached Gilbert Scott designed Midland Grand Hotel takes the cake. I was there in the summer of 2006 and would quite happily have stood on the pavement and stared at the buidling, taking it all in, for about an hour and a half were it not for (a) Better Half and (b) forty million grumpy Londoners swinging elbows as they passed me. I can't wait until it's open again...
